VENUE ANNOUNCED for August 20th Benefit



Newark Boys Chorus School’s Board Vice President, Mary Bentley LaMar, is coming out of her 'musical theatre' retirement to sing to raise funds to support the

Newark Boys Chorus School (NBCS). She will be accompanied by her son, Hunter LaMar, a composer, co-owner of thegighunter.com and NBCS Alum. Mary has performed on Broadway, in concert and cabaret throughout the United States, Japan and Europe.

NBCS is the only independent private elementary school serving boys of color in the country dedicated to academic excellence and the boy choir tradition. Currently, the school is experiencing financial challenges that threaten its survival.
