MLK Celebration

An MLK Celebration

It was an exciting month at school as students returned from the Winter vacation rested and ready for new opportunities! The Concert Chorus performed at the Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration at the Scott Flamm Center for Afterschool Development on January 20th in a shared program with the All Stars Project. A new friendship has developed between our organizations and we are planning a number of future engagements together. Please find photos of our boys welcoming guests and performing to an excited audience of community members and friends!

"On behalf of The All Stars Project of New Jersey, thank you! I can't tell you how much it means to us that we have kicked off the year with this new partnership and know that it will only keep growing from here.

The environment in the room was electric, affectionate, and there was such a sense of togetherness that I know made Dr. King Jr. proud. We are so looking forward to all the different ways we will join forces this year. Please consider working with us again at the All Stars Talent show on May 16, 2020. All of the young people are welcome to participate!

Please see the attached photos from yesterday event. I can't wait to see what we do next!"

Let's get growing, Shadae
