Donald C. Morris
Donald C. Morris has been an active choral director for close to forty years. He was a appointed Music Director of the Newark Boys Chorus School in 1996, and continues tosupervise the musical education and training of all the students at the school. Mr. Morris has prepared the Chorus for its tours of Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Barbados, Jamaica, Canada, and our tours throughout Europe.
A resident of Newark, Mr. Morris is Organist and Choirmaster at the Episcopal Church of St Andrew & Holy Communion in South Orange, NJ. He currently serves on the Equal Opportunity Program board of Westminster Choir College (Rider University), and has served as Boychoir chair on the NJ-ACDA (American Choral Directors Association). In 2004, Mr Morris had the distinction of being featured in the summer edition of Choral Director magazine. He is also active in presenting choral workshops here in the US and internationally.
Mr. Morris has M.A. in Music Education from Hunter College, a B.Sc. in Zoology and Chemistry from the University of the West Indies, and a L.R.S.M. (Licentiate of the Royal School of Music) in piano performance.
