December 7. “Today was a great success! The boys had a terrific time and I am grateful for the wonderful people at the Prudential Center and the New Jersey Devils who worked with the boys teaching them how to skate. I am looking forward to a great partnership with the New Jersey Devils,” commented Ulysses Morris, Academic Director at NBCS.
As part of an emerging partnership with the Prudential Center and the New Jersey Devils, NBCS students were invited to practice and to develop their hockey skills at the RWJ Barnabas Health Hockey House, home of the New Jersey Devils. The ice rink is an exact replica of where the NJ Devils compete right down to location of each partnership dasher. As you can see from the photos below and the students’ comments they are already looking forward to future activities.
“Providing access and exposure to the sport of ice hockey is a genuine focus for our organization and we’re looking forward to growing our partnership with NBCS,” concluded Jeff Scott, Vice President, Community Investment & Grassroots Prudential Center and New Jersey Devils.
